Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan and Madden School Sign Student Exchange, Academic Collaboration Agreement

The Madden School of Business at Le Moyne and the College of Management at Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan have finalized a three-year agreement that will result in student exchange and collaborative teaching and faculty research opportunities between the two institutions.
Under terms of the agreement, up to five undergraduate students could be exchanged per semester. Students will be selected based on academic merit and suitability and must have completed at least one year of undergraduate study.
The agreement will also include sharing of academic resources between Le Moyne and Fu Jen. Preliminary discussions have included the possibility of collaborative research between professors at both institutions, Le Moyne faculty teaching courses at Fu Jen and shared academic conferences.
"This is an historic move for Le Moyne College," said President Linda LeMura. "By gaining a strong foothold in this region of the world, we are laying the groundwork for similar agreements that will open up a world of possibilities for our students and faculty."

Located in New Taipei City, Taiwan, Fu Jen Catholic University is a Jesuit, Catholic university founded in 1925, at the request of the Holy See. With a student population of 26,000, it is comprised of 11 colleges, offers 47 master's programs and 11 Ph.D. programs. The university strives to provide students with a diversified, holistic, interdisciplinary, and international learning environment. Fu Jen's College of Management was accredited by AACSB in 2005.
