Pre-Engineering Program Guides

Students pursuing Le Moyne College's joint Bachelor's + Master's dual degree program with the L.C. Smith College of Engineering at Syracuse University major in the appropriate discipline at Le Moyne (biology, chemistry, computer science, or physics) and declare a concentration in pre-engineering.

Students who complete these engineering concentrations in good standing (including maintaining a 3.0 GPA, both overall and in their science and engineering courses) are admitted directly to the appropriate master's degree program at Syracuse University and receive a 50% tuition waver, typically completing their master's degree in an additional 3 semesters.

Below are program guides for these pre-engineering programs, including all program requirements and a suggested "typical" route through the required courses. (These guides do not include master's courses taken at Syracuse University.)

Program guides under the old core curriculum may be found here. (The current core curriculum was implemented in the Fall of 2013.)

For details concerning Le Moyne's "3+2" agreements with Clarkson University, Detroit-Mercy University, and Manhattan College, please see the "Undergraduate Transfer Programs" section of the College Catalog.
