History
Le Moyne College, located in Syracuse, N.Y., is Central New York's only Jesuit college. Situated on a picturesque 160-acre campus, Le Moyne was founded in 1946, the second youngest of the 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the U.S and the first to open as a co-educational institution.

Le Moyne College is a diverse learning community that strives for academic excellence in the Catholic and Jesuit tradition through its comprehensive programs rooted in the liberal arts and sciences. Its emphasis is on education of the whole person and on the search for meaning and value as integral parts of the intellectual life. Le Moyne College seeks to prepare its members for leadership and service in their personal and professional lives to promote a more just society.
Enrollment
Le Moyne College has an enrollment of approximately 2,800 undergraduate students and 600 students pursuing graduate work.

Le Moyne College students represent 32 states and 35 foreign countries.
Academics
Le Moyne offers more than 700 courses leading to Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degrees in over 30 different majors. Le Moyne also provides courses of study leading to a master’s in business administration, education, nursing and physician assistant studies, as well as a variety of offerings through the Center for Continuing Education.
Faculty
Le Moyne employs approximately 330 faculty. It maintains a 13:1 ratio of students to faculty, fostering personal attention to the individual student.
Commitment to Service
Service learning is an integral component of Le Moyne's tradition of Jesuit education. Through courses designed to integrate learning and service, as well as national and international service opportunities, students are prepared for leadership and service in their roles as students and graduates.
Athletics
Le Moyne is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and fields a total of 17 interscholastic teams. Le Moyne’s teams are Division II and compete in the Northeast-10 Athletic Conference. Students also participate in a wide variety of intramural and club sports.
Academic Excellence
For the past 21 years, U.S. News & World Report has recognized Le Moyne's academic excellence and value by naming it one of "America's Best Colleges" among regional universities (those with a master's degree program) in the North. The College has also, for the past four years, been named by The Princeton Review as one of the best colleges in the Northeast.
