Famous Entrepreneur Series Brings Gary Schwartz to Le Moyne
On Tuesday, Dec. 11, Gary Schwartz, CEO of Impact Mobile Inc., will be the featured speaker as Le Moyne hosts the Famous Entrepreneurs Series for the first time. Schwartz has played a key leadership role in the mobile industry; he is the founder of Impact Mobile and the mobile committee for the Interactive Advertising Bureau (for which he received an IAB award for industry excellence in 2009). In 2010, Schwartz was elected Chair of Mobile Entertainment Forum North America. He is the recipient of the Macromedia Peoples Choice Award, Dodge Foundation award for innovation and Retail Touchpoints Customer Engagement Award. He is also the author of “The Impulse Economy” and “Fast Shopper, Slow Store.”
Launched in 2006, the Famous Entrepreneur Series (FES) was developed to provide attendees with the opportunity to build relationships – creating a community of collaboration – to enhance the Central New York business environment. While encouraging the growth of the entrepreneurial spirit that resides in Central New York. Previous FES speakers have included Carly Fiorina, CEO of Hewlett-Packard, Richard Teerlink of Harley-Davidson, and Jon Luther of Dunkin’ Brands.
The event will feature a networking reception at 4:30 p.m., followed by Schwartz’s presentation and Q&A at 5:30 p.m. Both events will take place in the Curtin Special Events Room in the Campus Center.
