Le Moyne College and the Syracuse International Film Festival Present Thomas Newman
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release) … Film scorer Thomas Newman will deliver the second lecture in this year’s Film Talk Series on Tuesday, March 12, at 7:30 p.m. in the W. Carroll Coyne Center for the Performing Arts at Le Moyne College. His talk is titled “The Art of Film Scoring.”
Thomas Newman has been nominated for an Academy Award 12 times, including this year for “Skyfall.” His work includes “Side Effects,” “WALL-E,” “Finding Nemo,” “The Green Mile,” “American Beauty,” “The Shawshank Redemption” and “Six Feet Under.”
Film Talks is an exciting opportunity that brings students and the community together with leading film artists in a presentation and conversation format. It is sponsored by the Syracuse International Film Festival and the film program at Le Moyne College.
