Le Moyne College and Syracuse University Host Discussion on Ethical Leadership
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release) … Bernard Arogyaswamy, professor of business administration at Le Moyne College, and Lisa Dolak, professor of law at the Syracuse University College of Law, will join together for a conversation about ethical leadership and business ethics as part of the spring 2009 Intelligent Conversation Series; Ethical Dilemmas in a Changing World.
The event will take place on Tuesday, April 28, at 7 p.m. in Grewen Auditorium on the Le Moyne campus.
This new century has been fraught with ethical dilemmas that have affected people everywhere. Many people feel there is an unwillingness to confront wrongdoing and a failure of moral courage in both the public and private sectors. During the past year we have seen the proliferation of corruption and irresponsibility spanning government and financial institutions to the education and medical professions. In his inaugural address, President Barack Obama vowed to usher in a “new era of responsibility,” but has already experienced difficulty enforcing new strict ethics rules. Arogyaswamy and Dolak will delve into the many facets of this important topic.
The event is free and open to the public.
