Award-Winning Catholic Author to Speak at Le Moyne College

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release) … Dr. Linda MacCammon, a 1989 graduate of Le Moyne College, will speak on Wed., Sept. 30, at 7 p.m. in Grewen Auditorium about her book, “Liberating the Bible: A Guide for the Curious and Perplexed.” The Catholic Press Association awarded the book first place in Catholic books about scripture published in 2008. 

MacCammon is an associate professor in the religious studies department at St. John Fisher College and director of the peace and social justice studies minor. She holds a joint doctoral degree in theological ethics from Boston College and the Weston Jesuit School of Theology.

The lecture is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the religious studies department.
