Research Interests: My research focuses on insect ecology and biogeography, especially habitat choice and species distributions. From cicadas on the campus to insects in the Bahamian archipelago to orthopteran insects in the rainforest canopy of Ecuador, I hope to expand our understanding of insect food and habitat choices, the behaviors that result in and from those choices, ecological consequences, and long-term changes that may be associated with the changing climate.
