The experiential componenet of the certificate is coupled with theory and applications in systems analysis and design using IBM's computer-aided software engineering (CASE) tool; students may then choose to apply their knowledge by specializing in electronic business, information systems security or accounting information systems. Le Moyne's partnership with the Bank of New York Melon, part of the IBM Academic Initiative, provides further opportunities for students to apply their enterprise data management knowledge in the context of large-scale and mainframe systems.
