Incoming Graduate Students

Graduate students enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits of course work per semester) may apply for the federal direct student loans. All students interested in applying for federal loans must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Le Moyne College Loan Worksheet. The FAFSA is available on the web at www.fafsa.ed.gov.  Our school code for the FAFSA is 002748.

Le Moyne College Loan Worksheets are available in the Financial Aid Office or may be downloaded from our forms page.

Information for Graduate Education Students

The NYS Teacher Loan Forgiveness Program provides student loan forgiveness for the purpose of attracting and retaining teachers serving in hard to staff districts or who teach in subject shortage areas in New York State. Recipients can receive awards up to $5,000 per year for up to four years, not to exceed the total amount of the recipient’s student loan debt.  Learn more

Ed.D. in Executive Leadership Awards

Magis Doctoral Scholarship*
$18,000 Tuition Award
The award is divided equally among the courses of study by a per-credit-hour reduction to tuition. This award(s) is offered to students pursuing a doctorate in executive leadership at the time of admission to the program who demonstrate the following Pillars of Excellence: Leadership that Transforms, Social Responsibility, Scholarship and Communication.

Ignatian Doctoral Scholarship*
$27,000 Tuition Award
The award is divided equally among the course of study by a per-credit-hour reduction to tuition. This award(s) is offered to students pursuing a doctorate in executive leadership at the time of admission to the program who demonstrate the following Pillars of Excellence: Leadership that Transforms, Social Responsibility, Scholarship and Communication. In addition, recipients of this award will represent a personal or professional background of high need to the program as determined by the admission committee and faculty. The applicant will have demonstrated a deep commitment to social justice, sustainability, equality and/or service to his or her community.

Employer Cohort Awards*
40% Tuition Award (est. $37,000 Award)
If two or more applicants from the same company/agency join the same cohort for the doctorate in executive leadership at Le Moyne, those employees can be eligible for a 40 percent reduction in their tuition. Employees must be admitted to the same cohort to be eligible for this award and show they have support of their employer to enroll in a four-year program of study. Employees must maintain their employment to receive this award yearly.

*No additional application required. All those who are invited to interview are considered for scholarship and will be notified in the admission offer.

MS Occupational Therapy Awards

Excellence in Occupational Therapy Scholarships*
$15,000 - $30,000 Tuition Awards
The award is divided equally among the courses of study by a reduction to tuition. This award is presented to students pursuing a master’s degree in occupational therapy who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the program's mission to contribute to the profession through service, scholarship and leadership, and to promoting occupational justice in local and global communities. In a continued effort to diversify the OT profession, additional preference and award considerations may be given to students who are from diverse personal, professional and identity backgrounds.

Students who have been admitted to the master’s degree program in occupational therapy but who are missing prerequisite coursework may be considered for awards to offset the cost of those required classes.

  • American Occupational Therapy Association E.K. Wise Scholarship
    “The fund for the E. K. Wise scholarship was established in the 1960s through the generous bequest of Elizabeth K. Wise and supports students pursuing an entry-level occupational therapy (OT) or occupational therapy assistant (OTA) degree from diverse backgrounds.Yearly, three awards will be granted in the amount of $2,500. Students may apply for a second year”
  • American Occupational Therapy Foundation
    AOTF offers more than 50 different scholarships annually to students enrolled in occupational therapy programs.

*No additional application or interview is required. All applicants who are interviewed for admission are considered for scholarship and will be notified as part of their admission offer.
