Application for Admission

Complete the Common Application or the Le Moyne Application.

Transcripts

All foreign transcripts should be submitted to a credential evaluation service to be evaluated and then submitted to Le Moyne College. Visit the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) website for a listing of member organizations. Please choose from any of the current members listed. Each organization has instructions on how to submit required documents for evaluation. Transcripts submitted by the applicant will be considered unofficial and will not satisfy admission requirements. In addition, if you have already graduated from high school, please forward any national exam results such as the GCSE or WAEC.

Recommendations

Submit a school counselor recommendation or up to three teacher recommendations. For schools without a counselor, recommendations may be sent from a principal or headmaster.

Passport or Visa

A copy of your visa, or the biographic page of your passport, must be submitted prior to receiving an admission decision. You may upload these documents via your Applicant Status Page. Please be sure that all information (i.e. dates, name, photo) is clear and readable.

Test Scores

International students who apply to Le Moyne College do not need to provide SAT, SAT subject tests, or ACT scores unless they choose to do so. However, if English is not the student's native language, an official score report from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or Duolingo is required.

TOEFL/IELTS/Duolingo Scores: Required if English is not your first language, or if English has not been the language of instruction for the major part of your academic experience. TOEFL requirements: 79-80 (Internet-based). IELTS requirement: at least 6.5. Duolingo requirement: at least 110.

SAT/ACT Scores: English proficiency test scores may be waived for students with an SAT score of 500 or better on EBRW/Critical Reading section, or an ACT score of 22 or better on the English section.

Immigration Documentation

Documentation of your citizenship status must be submitted prior to receiving an admission decision. All documentation regarding citizenship status can be uploaded via your Applicant Status Page. Please be sure that all information (i.e. dates, name, photo) is clear and readable.

If you are currently on an F1 student visa:
Complete our Certificate of Finance.
Submit a copy of your current I-20.
Submit a copy of the biographic page of your passport.

If you are on any visa type such as an H, E, T etc., which permit study in the United States, and will not be changing to an F1 visa:
Submit a copy of your official notification of your visa status.
Submit a copy of the biographic page of your passport.

If you are on any other visa type and are changing to an F1: 
Complete our Certificate of Finance.
Submit a copy of your current visa type.
Submit a copy of the biographic page of your passport.

If you are currently a refugee or asylum seeker:
Send a copy of any official Homeland Security document that shows your current refugee or asylum status.

If you are a citizen of a United States associated state:
Send a copy of the biographic page of your passport.

If none of the above refers to your status, please email us to let us know and we will make the necessary adjustments on your file and work with you to complete your application and get you a decision.
