Information Session: Arts Administration Graduate Program
The arts administration graduate program at Le Moyne College will host an information session for interested students on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 6:30 p.m. in Room 214 of the W. Carroll Coyne Center for the Performing Arts. Attendees will learn about the new arts administration graduate program and have a chance to meet some of the faculty involved.
The Arts Administration Graduate Program at Le Moyne will train the next generation of Arts Administrators through relevant coursework taught by seasoned professionals within the field, and through practical experience as students work directly with arts and culture organizations in the community. The program’s course offerings are designed to accommodate working professionals and students pursuing a career in the arts industry. Networking opportunities are made available to students via regular trips to New York City, and short-term study abroad opportunities will link classroom conversations to real-world and professional experience. The first class of students began their coursework in the Summer of 2015, and the program admits new students on a rolling basis.
“I think having really savvy arts leaders who are managing the arts organizations that enrich our communities is critically important.” - Catherine Underhill, Arts Administration Professor & Managing Director of Symphoria.
