Do you have a flair for the dramatic?
You may find one at Le Moyne!
With a variety of theatre, music and dance groups on campus, there are a number of ways to become involved, either on stage or off! In fact, there is such a proud tradition of theatre at Le Moyne that the College has designed a special first-year learning community especially for students interested in singing, dancing and acting. Members of the Performing Arts learning community don’t just share a common interest. They also take courses together and live near one another on camps!
The center for drama, dance and music at Le Moyne is the W. Carroll Coyne Center for the Performing Arts, a state-of the-art facility where students take courses and hold performances! Among the groups that perform there and at other locations on campus are:

- Boot and Buskin Theatre Troupe
- Chapel Choir
- Jazzuits Vocal Ensemble
- Le Moyne Student Dancers
- Le Moyne College Steppers
- Le Moyne College Singers
- Major Arcana (Threatre Group)
- Voices of Power
Whether drama, music or dance, the performing arts reflect the richness of the human experience. They entertain, but they also have the power to inspire and move us in a way that is singular. At Le Moyne, students have the opportunity to deepen their appreciation and understanding of all of the performing arts, and of the traditions and theories associated with them.
And if you think Le Moyne graduates haven’t gone on to pursue a career in theatre, think again! Actors Tim DeKay ’85 of HBO’s Carnival and Tell Me You Love Me and Siobhan Fallon ’83, a former Saturday Night Live star who has appeared in films such as Forest Gump and Baby Mama, both call themselves Dolphins! So go ahead and think about becoming involved in theatre at Le Moyne. You may just break a leg!
