Le Moyne College

Local Eats

Syracuse isn’t just home to Le Moyne. It’s also home to some great places to eat!

Whether you’re in the mood for Italian, Middle Eastern or Chinese fare, are craving sushi, lasagna or just a good, old fashioned hamburger, you probably won’t have to travel too far off campus to find it. There are a number of places where you can go with your friends or with your family when they’re visiting you. Syracuse’s Armory Square and Tipperary Hill neighborhoods are always great places to stop when you’re hungry!

And if you find yourself needing some fuel late at night, there are a number of places that are open late and which have delivery services. Pizza, anyone?

Where will I eat?

Wonder what’s for dinner? Don’t worry. When it comes to grabbing a bite to eat on campus, there’s no shortage of options.

The College’s dining center is open seven days a week during the school year, and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Friday and brunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday. With a variety of meal plans available for both residential and commuter students, you’re sure to find one that will work for you, depending on how often you’ll be eating on campus and how much flexibility you want in choosing where to go. In addition to the LaCasse Dining Center, many Le Moyne students also head to the Dolphin Den, which serves a variety of soups, salads, deli sandwiches, pizza and grilled items. Located in James Commons, the Dolphin Den is open Sunday through Friday as well as some weekend evenings for special events.

Want another option? Why not try Kaffe Nuvo (left), which features sandwiches, pastries, salads and beverages. Located on the first floor of Grewen Hall, it’s a great option if you just need some quick fuel between classes or on your way to a meeting or practice!
