Strategy #4 - Intellectually, Socially and Spiritually Vibrant Campus
Thursday, January 5, 2-3pm, Reilley Room: Staff Forum sponsored presentation on health and wellness by Dave Willard, Coordinator of Recreation, Fitness and Wellness.

Thursday, February 2, 10-11:30am, Reilley Room: "Espresso & Herbal Tea: Finding Human Moments in a Zooming World"
In a recent film, a Silicon Valley tech guru offered:  “We use to live on farms, then we lived in the cities.  Now we live on the internet!”  Whether or not we believe these words, there is truth that much of how we live our lives today is virtual, and the definitions of meetings, friendships, games and communications have changed dramatically in the past decade. Join Le Moyne’s own, Dr. Renée Downey Hart, in this humorous and interactive session as she explores this age of speed and hustle, and invites you to question your own engagement as you do business, redefine leisure and cultivate friendships on our computers, pods, phones and pads.  You may be surprised at our levels of engagement, but question whether these interactions have the same power as those of years past when a knock on the door was more common than a text-tone from a pocket, and shooting baskets required an actual court.

Strategy #5 - Greater Diversity within the Le Moyne Community and External Communities
Sunday, September 11, 1-4pm: To commemorate the September 11 tragedy,  "Random Acts of Kindness" efforts will be coordinated with the Syracuse Parks Department at Kirk Park, Syracuse. An inter-faith 9/11 Memorial Service will follow at 5pm at Sherwood Park. A 7 pm liturgy/memorial service will be held at the Le Moyne College Chapel.

Strategy #6 - Reputation for Excellence in Jesuit Education

March ? (Date TBD): Speaker from the International Mission for Justice to which the Le Moyne and external communities will be invited to raise awareness of the effort and visibility of Le Moyne's role in its support.

We are really looking forward to a great year! Please share any and all ideas for development of this group! Thank you!
