The entire Le Moyne College campus community and all members of the public are welcome to view the Urban Video Project installations in downtown Syracuse on any evening. The installations are at:

  • Monroe Building near Columbus Circle
  • Syracuse Stage
  • Montgomery Street, Onondaga Historical Association, can be seen from Columbus Circle

Jon Doughtery, reporter and anchor with Time Warner Cable News in Buffalo, New York, discusses the ins and outs of broadcast news.  If you’re interested in television journalism, you won’t want to miss this talk.

Professionals from the world of newspapers, broadcasting, public relations and advertising will offer advice on finding communication jobs and navigating the professional world.  The event is sponsored by the Association for Students in Communication. 

Where to, Radio? Wednesday, Sept. 30, 7 p.m.

The Jesuit Theater, W. Carroll Coyne Center for the Performing Arts. 
A distinguished panel of radio professionals and scholars will discuss the current state of broadcast radio and its much-debated future. 

Resume Workshop: Thursday, Oct. 1, 7 p.m.

Join professionals from the Office of Career Services who will discuss how to put together the right resume for the right job.

An exciting collaboration with Syracuse University’s Connective Corridor/Urban Video Project is unfolding at Le Moyne College. A campus-wide UVP workshop was held on Monday, September 21, with Denise Heckman and others presenting an overview of this exciting initiative and a discussion of how Le Moyne can produce content for projection. In addition, Michael Streissguth’s students in “Mass Media and Society” (CMM 250) will be producing content for projection during the Fall semester, meeting three times with UVP people including at the UVP headquarters at The Warehouse, 350 W. Fayette Street.
