Koinonia and Cocoa
Koinonia and Cocoa is a monthly event designed for students, staff, and faculty seeking to learn more about faith and religion in an inviting social environment.
Koinonia is an anglicized form of the Greek word, κοινωνία, with the following meanings: communion, joint participation, a gift jointly contributed, a collection, a contribution. It identifies the idealized state of fellowship and unity that should exist within the Christian church, the Body of Christ.
Each month a faculty or staff members shares about her/his faith journey, followed by a questions and discussion over hot chocolate or other beverages.
