Majoring in Spanish taught me to think about the world more critically and with more empathy for others.

Ashley currently lives in Manlius, New York. Since September 2014, she has been a reporter for Eagle Newspapers. She writes for two weekly community newspapers, The Eagle Star-Review and The Baldwinsville Messenger. Previously, her work appeared in The Valley News and Today's CNY Woman magazine.

"From the first time I visited, I could feel a great sense of community at Le Moyne. It’s like a big family — ask any alum! I felt especially at home in the Spanish program, where I forged connections with both my professors and my fellow students. Majoring in Spanish taught me to think about the world more critically and with more empathy for others."
