Welcome to Disability Support Services (DSS)
We provide services and coordinate accommodations related to the academic aspects of college life for students with special needs due to learning, emotional, and physical disabilities. Services include pre- and post-admissions consultations, diagnostic referrals, review of previously administered diagnostic tests, academic accommodations, informal academic advising, presentation of self-advocacy skills for students, and liaison and advocacy measures with faculty and staff. All accommodations are determined on a case-by-case basis to address the specific needs of each student as indicated in his or her documentation. The DSS office assists in the facilitation of classroom-related needs and other scholastically-oriented issues.
