The Dolphin

The Dolphin is a newspaper published weekly by the students of Le Moyne College. Anyone can join. Anyone can write, edit, take pictures, sell and design ads, and help put it all together into a vibrant publication. Dolphin staffers take pride in being part of the most closely knit and energetic organization on campus,  and in being able to tell the community the latest about the news important to students: lectures and plays, lacrosse games and swim meets, politics and professor profiles.  Want to join?  Contact one of the 2013-2014 co-executive editors, Aubrey Zych (zychar@stu.lemoyne.edu) or Nicole Albrigo (albrigne@stu.lemoyne.edu), or Prof. Dan Roche (rochedm@lemoyne.edu).  Or stop by the newspaper's office on the first floor of Grewen Hall, across from The Den.

WLMU

WLMU radio, a student-operated station, serves Le Moyne residence halls. Transmitting on a carrier-current that uses existing power lines, WLMU is located at 680 on the AM dial. It is organized in the manner of a commercial station and provides an opportunity for students to learn broadcasting while they work. Students may participate in all phases of radio production and management.  The WLMU studio is on the first floor of Grewen Hall, across from The Den.  You can also listen to WLMU through iTunes.

LCTV

The Le Moyne Television Club is designed to give students experience in writing, producing and performing shows for television. Le Moyne College has its own cable channel which will air student productions. All students who are interested in hands-on experience in the television industry are welcome to join.  The LCTV station is on the first floor of Reilly Hall.

The Communication Club

Through its sponsorship of guest speakers, employer panels, and student visits to major media markets such as New York City and Pittsburgh, the Communication Club gives Le Moyne students a greater understanding of the communication industry and helps direct them toward career opportunities in the professional media. All Le Moyne students are welcome to join.
