The Department of Biological Sciences offers B.S. and B.A. degrees in Biology, with various concentrations (see below), as well as the B.S. degree in Environmental Systems Science (click here) and Environmental Studies (click here).
Students studying Biological Sciences have several concentration options including molecular biology, health professions, neurobiology and education. Students who do not wish to commit to one of the above options can choose a general B.S. or B.A. in biology.
All students are required to take specific core courses (e.g. WRT 100) as well as several major support courses (e.g. CHM 151).
