Le Moyne Presents "Around the World in 80 Days"

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release)… The Department of Visual and Performing Arts at Le Moyne College will present “Around the World in 80 Days” by Jules Verne, in a new adaptation by Mark Brown. Performance schedule is as follows:

Friday, April 13, 8 p.m.
Saturday, April 14, 8 p.m.
Thursday, April 19, 8 p.m.
Friday, April 20, 8 p.m.
Saturday, April 21, 8 p.m.
MATINEE: Saturday, April 21, 2 p.m.

Stampeding elephants! Raging typhoons! Runaway trains! Hold onto your seats for the original amazing race! Fearless adventurer Phileas Fogg has agreed to an outrageous wager that puts his fortune and his life at risk as he sets out to circle the globe in an unheard-of 80 days. Danger, romance, and comic surprises abound in this whirlwind of a show as five actors portraying 39 characters traverse seven continents in this new adaptation of one of the great adventures of all time.

This Le Moyne College production of “Around the World in 80 Days” will be under the direction of Assistant Professor of Theatre Matt Chiorini. Scenery will be designed by Karel Blakeley and costumes designed by Katie Rauch.
