Le Moyne College Dedicates First-Ever Alumni House

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release) … Le Moyne College formally dedicated its new Alumni House on Friday, Feb. 15. The house, located at 546 Fayette Boulevard, has been refurbished to serve the needs of alumni, with several meeting spaces, high speed internet, and large-screen television in the living room with USB and computer capabilities.

“Our alumni are instrumental to the mission of the College,” said President Fred P. Pestello. “They represent a link to the past, but also a key to the future as they engage and support our community and our current students in so many ways. My hope is that this house becomes a treasured space, one that alumni may use to stay in touch with former classmates and to stay active and involved with the important work that Le Moyne is doing today.”

The residence will also serve as home to Le Moyne’s Office of Alumni and Parent Programs. Watch coverage of the dedication of the home that ran on Channel 9 WSYR-TV.

The project is the latest in a string of improvements made to the campus, including a state-of-the-art 48,000 square foot new science building, a new multi-use turf field and softball field, a renovated LaCasse Dining Center, the Le Moyne Plaza (housing the bookstore, Dunkin’ Donuts and Cam’s Pizzeria), the Dolphin Den and a Veterans House.
