Le Moyne College Hosts Talk on Portrayal of Native Americans in Film

(For Immediate Release) … Torry Mendoza, a Mescalero Apache and independent film-maker, will talk about “Native Americans in Film” on Thursday, March 13, at 7 p.m. in Grewen Auditorium at Le Moyne College.<br /> <br /> His work contests negative connotations attributed to Native Americans in the media and brings to the forefront contemporary issues of cultural preservation and resiliency. <br /> <br /> His talk is free and open to the public.
