Talk by N.Y. Times Science Writer Carol Kaesuk Yoon
Le Moyne College will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day with a talk by Carol Kaesuk Yoon on Wednesday, April 21, at 7:30 p.m. in Grewen Auditorium. The title of her talk is “Forget tree planting, recycling and your carbon footprint: What you should really do this Earth Day.”posted on: 4/6/2010
Carol Kaesuk Yoon has been a science writer for the New York Times since 1992. Her recent book, “Naming Nature,” is a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize and was named one of the best books of 2009 by New Scientist Magazine. She holds a doctorate in ecology and evolutionary biology from Cornell University.
The talk is free and open to the public. A book signing will follow.
