Transfer & Graduate Students

Whether you are transferring to Le Moyne beginning in the fall or spring, be sure to file your FAFSA using Le Moyne’s school code, 002748 for the FAFSA that falls in the academic year you are transferring. For example, if you are transferring in Spring 2025, you will file the 2024-25 FAFSA. If you are transferring in Fall 2025, you will file the 2025-26 FAFSA.

We recommend that you file your FAFSA as soon as you submit your application for admission, as additional aid is often provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

File your FAFSA

If you are enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits of coursework per semester), you are able to apply for a federal loan. Graduate students may apply for a Federal Direct Loan, a Federal Unsubsidized Loan or a Federal Graduate PLUS Loan.

If you wish to file for a federal loan, be sure to file the FAFSA for the academic year you are beginning your graduate studies during. For example, if you are starting graduate school in Fall 2025, you will file the 2025-26 FAFSA, but if you are starting graduate school in Spring 2025, you will file the 2024-25 FAFSA.
