Awards & Scholarships

Student Dolphin

We are dedicated to supporting your higher education dreams, which is why we provide some level of merit award to nearly all accepted students. Our merit awards are just one way we help you manage college costs, allowing you to make a sound investment in your future.

First-Year Accepted Students

Merit scholarships are based on a holistic assessment of your application, including your personal statement, recommendations, GPA and other supplemental materials to determine academic potential. Applications submitted early (by Feb. 15) will receive priority scholarship consideration.

Le Moyne College does not require SAT/ACT scores for any of our merit scholarships. If you wish you may submit test scores for review, but only test scores that benefit a student will factor into our decision-making process.

ROTC

Le Moyne College participates with ROTC through Syracuse University -Air Force and Army.

Le Moyne College will offer a grant equal to the cost of Le Moyne College housing for each semester the student is receiving an ROTC scholarship covering full tuition.  As the grant is for housing, Le Moyne will not award the grant for students commuting from home or otherwise not residing in Le Moyne College housing.

The student is responsible for the cost of their meal plan. The family is encouraged to complete a FAFSA and may use a federal Pell Grant (if eligible) and federal student loans towards the cost of their meals and other educational expenses.

A full tuition ROTC scholarship eliminates eligibility for all Le Moyne academic scholarships and Le Moyne grants, with the exception of the housing grant.

Financial aid packages for students receiving partial ROTC scholarship (not covering full tuition) will be reviewed on an individual basis.

Students with partial ROTC scholarships remain eligible for academic scholarships if awarded, provided the total of the ROTC scholarship, academic scholarship and entitlement awards (Pell and NYS TAP) does not exceed the annual cost of education.

The family is encouraged to complete a FAFSA and may use federal Pell Grant (if eligible) and federal student loans towards the remaining cost of education not covered by the ROTC scholarship and academic scholarship.

Submit Your FAFSA: To be considered for additional state, federal and institutional grants on top of any merit scholarships awarded, be sure to submit the FAFSA using Le Moyne’s code, 002748.
