You'll find recreational activities for every season in Central New York. Within a short drive from campus, you'll be able to explore the Finger Lakes, swim in the emerald waters of Green Lakes State Park, bike along the old Erie Canal, golf at one of our many outstanding public courses, pick apples in the fall at Beak & Skiff Orchards, downhill ski at one of the several resorts, or snowshoe through the woodland trails of Highland Forest.

Located five miles from campus is Destiny USA, the sixth biggest mall in the U.S., with more than 300 traditional retail and outlet stores, restaurants and entertainment venues. Just five minutes away, enjoy the convenience of the Fayetteville Town Center, which features restaurants and stores such as Target, Kohl's and L.L. Bean. And down the hill from the Heights, you’ll also find supermarkets, as well as small grocers and international food markets.
