Come for stats tutoring, stay for bio-chem study tips – and so much more.

The Le Moyne Student Success Center is here to help with almost anything. Academic support? We’re home to over 50 tutors waiting to get you test- and quiz-ready. And yes, we have tutors for anatomy and physiology. And CHM 151. And BIO 192. Trouble taking notes? We have tips for that, too. Mentoring? Advising? Check. Check.

Located on the first floor of the Noreen Falcone Library, our office is open Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Tutoring runs seven days a week during the Fall/Spring semesters:

  • Monday – Thursday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Friday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Sunday 3 p.m. – 9 p.m.

All appointments are made through our online scheduling system. We increase our hours during midterms and finals, so watch this space.

But our services don’t stop at tutoring and study tips.

Unsure about your major? We’ve got Academic Coaches ready to brainstorm. Having a hard time getting into the college pace of things? We can talk resources. Not sure who to ask about something? We’re good resource people! Stop by and we’ll get you connected.

Your One-Stop Shop for Academic Success on the Heights

Let the Student Success Center help you navigate Le Moye’s academic support resources.

Tutoring Services

Over 50 upper-division students who’ve excelled in their coursework and have been recommended by faculty are ready and waiting to help you – even today! All tutors participate in our College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) internationally certified tutor training. Individual appointments and study groups are available.

Advising Services

Your academic advisor is one of your go-to resources on campus and is assigned to you based on your major. However, undeclared students work specifically with advisors in the Student Success Center. But got a pressing question? Our coaches are always ready to answer general advising questions – just stop by.

College Transition Support

Our first-year and transfer orientation programs are here to help you know what to expect when you’re heading to the Heights. By the time you arrive on your first day, you’ll know a thing or two and will be an old pro in no time.

Major Exploration Mentorship

“What’s your major?” can be a loaded question. Fear not! Maybe you are unsure of what to major in – or don’t like the one you chose. That’s OK! Check out our major exploration materials to get the wheels turning, and stop by to talk more with an advisor or schedule some time with someone in our Career Services office!

Academic Coaching

Are you thinking: “Biology, it’s not you, it’s me?” Maybe you’re struggling with time management or can’t get a study schedule together. Academic Coaches – peer and professional – can meet individually with you to develop a plan of action.

Honor Societies: Tau Sigma and Alpha Lambda Delta

Honor societies Tau Sigma (for transfer students) and Alpha Lambda Delta (for first-year students) nationally recognize Dolphins for their academic excellence and meaningful goals. Each provides a great sense of community and resume booster!

Faculty members concerned about students should confidentially alert the E.A.S.E. (Early Alert System Exchange) team to help them get the resources they need.
