Achieving an Ed.D. on the Heights

Through small class sizes and individualized mentorship, you’ll have the academic and professional support to grow your network and achieve new heights.

Ed.D. in Executive Leadership Overview

The Ed.D. program at Le Moyne is designed for leaders in education to complete the entire program alongside full-time employment within three to four years. As a low-residency program, you’ll attend four weekend residencies each fall and spring semester and three residencies each summer semester. You’ll complete core, research and professional leadership courses at the end of 28 months. Benefit from intimate cohorts of 10-15 students to inspire rich conversation and a deep commitment from faculty and research advisers.

Ed.D. Participants

The Ed.D. program is built to attract and support the development of leaders who will aspire to create educational cultures that model collaboration grounded in foundations of social justice. Commonly, interested and successful candidates are already informed by best practices in leadership and administration and come from organizational settings, such as teacher leadership, higher education, business and health care.

Ed.D. Courses

Through rigorous leadership coursework, graduates of the executive leadership program will foster necessary change while continuously supporting organizational growth and improvement.
