Savannah Stevens graduated in 2018, majoring in Business Analytics and Finance. She is a financial analyst in the early career development program at Lockheed Martin’s Liverpool, New York location.  She appreciates the support she received from the professional network she developed while at Le Moyne: “My mentor from the Madden Mentor program retired from Lockheed Martin. I can honestly say I would not have this job without the guidance he gave me.”

Thinking back to her time in the Madden School of Business at Le Moyne, she credits her internship opportunities for her professional success. “I remember sitting in my supply chain internship, opening a spreadsheet I was assigned to work on and knowing exactly how to tackle the problem because of what I had learned in my business analytics class.  That was when I realized analytics is what I want to do for the rest of my life.”  Savannah stressed the positive experience she had in the classroom and beyond at Le Moyne.  “I enjoyed the curriculum of the Business Analytics program as well as the opportunity to be a part of the business analytics competition in Manhattan. That was a once in a lifetime experience that I am grateful I was able to be a part of.”

When asked to share her advice with current students, she couldn’t express enough the importance of building strong relationships before graduation. “Use all the resources Le Moyne provides you to create a broad network, even Dean Jim Joseph,” she stressed. “Meeting with him helped me get my first real internship.”
