Deborah Cunningham holds a Bachelor of Music in Education and Masters of Music in Performance (piano accompaniment) and Education from Syracuse University. Active as a collaborative pianist in the Greater Syracuse area, Ms. Cunningham has performed with Symphoria, Symphony Syracuse, the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra, Syracuse Opera, Skaneateles Festival, Syracuse Children’s Chorus, as well as various local theater companies. Deborah is active as a guest conductor and workshop clinician across the United States, and is co-author of the book Travel On and On: Interdisciplinary Lessons on the Music of World Cultures. Ms. Cunningham is on the music education faculty at Syracuse University, where she has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in music education and secondary piano, and is published in Update: Applications of Research in Music Education and Music Educators Journal.
