Distinctiveness is what we are all about! As one of America’s 28 Jesuit colleges and universities, we have the strength of a 450-year tradition of preparing educators and health care professionals at every level. The Kathy '66 and John '65 Purcell School of Professional Studies (PSPS) at Le Moyne College exemplifies academic excellence, and provides its students with outstanding opportunity within the walls of the classroom and beyond.
Whether you are an undergraduate or graduate student, the Purcell School of Professional Studies offers outstanding programs in Nursing, Education, Physician Assistant Studies, and Occupational Therapy. The School also serves adult students and veterans through its Center for Continuing Education.
In the PSPS, you'll work with our faculty, who recognize the important role of research and scholarship in preparing tomorrow's educators and health professionals. It is the intimate relationship between student and faculty member that ultimately produces a professional graduate who has the mental capacity and passion to truly make our world a better place. The faculty, staff, and I look forward to working with you to help you achieve your personal and professional goals. Please contact us if you have any questions about the programs offered through the Purcell School.
Best Wishes,
Margaret Wells, Ph.D., R.N., APN- BC Dean, Purcell School of Professional Studies

Gabriel Bol Deng is truly a teacher at heart. He also loves to learn. The Le Moyne alumnus recently provided the children in his native village in the Republic of South Sudan with an opportunity they didn't think they'd have - to learn in a school of their own.
"Le Moyne provided me with excellent preparation in both the content I would be teaching and in classroom management," she said. "It also offered an amazing support system for veterans like me, and tuned out to be a great match overall."
