Prof. Elena Rodríguez-Guridi received a B.A. in English from Universidad de Deusto in Spain, an M.A. in Hispanic Literature from Indiana University, and a Ph.D. in Hispanic Literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Her research focuses on Peninsular Golden Age literature and culture, especially on the Spanish Baroque. Prof. Rodríguez-Guridi has authored articles on María de Zayas, Teresa de Ávila, Miguel de Cervantes, and Luis de Góngora. Her most recent book is Exégesis del “error”: Una reinterpretación de la praxis de escritura en Libro de la vida, Novelas ejemplares y Desengaños amorosos.
