What Motivates Young People to Engage in Leadership?
Join us for a lecture titled “What Motivates Young People to Engage in Leadership?”, led by Jonathan Damiani, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Le Moyne Executive Leadership Program.
Dr, Damiani will address the ways in which people's perceptions of leadership influence their leadership confidence and motivation to lead in their future careers. His research in this area is based on data collected from college-age students in the United Kingdom and Japan and helps us see how leadership identity and aspirations are formed by experiences. Students who attend this presentation will be actively invited to participate in examining their own leadership theories.
This event is part of the Fall 2021 Social Science Seminar Series.
