Humans of Le Moyne: Angela Cotto ’19

Angela Cotto ’19 has always had a caring approach and an ethical compass. She will carry those internal guides with her as she pursues her master’s degree in social work at the University of Albany starting in the fall. She plans to use her advanced degree to work closely with students to help them “receive resources and opportunities that will allow them to succeed academically, personally and financially.” Relying on her experiences here, which ranged from being president of the Dolphin Steppers to serving as a resident advisor, Angela will be sharing her wisdom and knowledge to move her future students forward.

“Take advantage of opportunities offered at Le Moyne or even beyond. Your experiences at college are supposed to be a time where you find yourself, your likes, dislikes and build memories. Be OK with change because you will be surprised by the opportunities that come your way. Lastly, make sure to enjoy your time here because, before you know it, graduation will be approaching!”
