Eddy Mendez came here four years ago from New York City to embark on the next step in his vocational and personal development. During his time on the Heights, he balanced many activities, while also tackling two majors -- Finance and Business Analytics. As if the double major was not a large enough challenge, Eddy also pursued numerous internships and experiential learning opportunities. When you examine all that Eddy accomplished, you witness his intentional direction and focus. His engagement on and off campus include internships with financial management firms, analytics competitions, a work study position with Informational Technology (IT) here on the Heights, membership in the Investment Club and more. And all this work has produced fruit! Eddy will be working full time as an executive trainee for Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits. “Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and try new things.
