Humans of Le Moyne: Tyree Chambers

Tyree Chambers came to Le Moyne initially to play basketball as a transfer from Providence University, but he soon found his experience had expanded far beyond daily basketball practices and court time. He found himself immersed in the myriad of activities Le Moyne offered. Graduating in May of 2018 with a bachelor’s in accounting and in May of 2019 with an MBA, Tyree excelled and earned high honors for his academic achievements.⁣

With multiple internships, some of them at Big 4 firms, Tyree’s interest in public accounting as a career was solidified. In August of 2019, the hard work will pay off as Tyree will join PricewaterhouseCooper (PwC) in Boston, Massachusetts. Working as an Audit Associate, he will be able to apply the hard work and dedication he used here on the Heights to make a similar impact for PwC.⁣

Mr. Chambers is also grateful for his time playing with the Men's Basketball team.⁣

“Being part of a winning team with a championship culture helped me become the man I am today. I was blessed with an opportunity to transfer into a family and I will for always cherish my teammates, my brothers. Working as a team is not just important in sports, but also in my profession. The experiences here will help me forever to care for others, and work with but also for others!”⁣
