Le Moyne College Stories

Danielle McMahon graduated in 2018 with a degree in accounting, going on to add her MBA. She is currently a staff accountant in the tax department at Grossman St. Amour CPAs in Syracuse, NY. 

Danielle took advantage of one of the many programs offered by Career Advising & Development to secure her current position: "I met the recruiters from GSA at Le Moyne's Meet the Accountants Event when I worked in the Career Advising & Development Office. When it was time to look for a job, I reached out to them and they remembered me!"

Danielle shared her thoughts about what she appreciated most about her time at Le Moyne: "My favorite part about Le Moyne was the small class sizes. I was more than just a number in my classes and my professors knew me by name."

She also had some simple, but sometimes overlooked, advice to our current students: "Get involved! Whether it's academic-related or not, get involved! I have made so many wonderful personal and professional relationships just by stepping out of my comfort zone and joining different groups."
