    Meet Sebastian Notaro '14

Recognizing the increasing importance of technology in the business world, Sebastian Notaro is a recent Le Moyne graduate with a dual degree in accounting and information systems, as well as an MBA. Sebastian says he chose to attend Le Moyne because of its superior academic record in accounting, in addition to it being a close community of amazing people. He enjoyed that although the classes are smaller, the possibilities are bigger than he could have imagined.

Sebastian has certainly taken advantage of the many opportunities that Le Moyne College provides, some that have even brought him on adventures all over the world. From volunteering in Kenya and Ecuador with Campus Ministry, to taking classes with Integral Honors in Guatemala, to visiting the national headquarters of international companies in Poland and Scotland, Sebastian has been able to learn while also developing connections and relationships that will last a lifetime.

During his senior year, Sebastian served as president of the Student Government Association, a position that allowed him to utilize his leadership skills while making a difference for his fellow students. “My Le Moyne Jesuit education has prepared me to excel both personally and professionally. Knowing is one thing, but being able to apply what you know is another, and my courses and experiences have enabled me to do that.” Sebastian currently works as an accountant for Turning Stone Resort & Casino, and is working on completing his CPA certification.

*Some of the companies we visited include HP, Lockheed Martin, Royal Bank of Scotland, Enterprise, and the American Chamber of Commerce. Not sure if you want to include specific names.
