Entrepreneurship on the Heights

Student entrepreneur

The Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Creativity has a clear mission – to support the lifecycle of dreams and ideas. Want to create a podcast? Launch a clothing line? Develop a patent for your own unique invention? All of that – and more – is possible at the Keenan Center.

Let us help you shape your dream into reality through business development, mentoring, support and professional development.

Keenan Innovators is an after school program for students in grades 6-8. Participants learn how to use a 3D printer and laser cutter, put together a podcast, screen print T-shirts, and more.

Innovation Is Waiting at the Keenan Center

The Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Creativity is where you'll find a community of thinkers and doers who are passionate about innovation.

Join Our Community of Entrepreneurs, Innovators and Creatives

At the Keenan Center, you'll get one-on-one mentorship with experienced business professionals, real-world experience and support from fellow entrepreneurs. Who knows? Your idea could receive funding in our annual Dolphin Tank competition.

Coaching at the Keenan Center

Our coaching model is designed to support both student and community entrepreneurs through a range of resources and hands-on guidance. Student business coaching offers support for student-run ventures, including interactive workshops, one-on-one coaching, and access to funding opportunities. Community business mentoring extends this support by providing a collaborative space where student and community entrepreneurs can connect with mentors, build networks, and access the tools they need to grow and succeed.

Student Innovation at Keenan

Celestin Abwe ’23, founder and president of Clutch Delivery LLC, began his journey thousands of miles away, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. For Jamie Sonneville and Jason Hill, presenting their company's, Agri-Trak, story at the 2023 TechCrunch Disrupt conference was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. They placed in the final six of TechCrunch, which helped to draw the attention of major investment firms, thanks to the Keenan Center.

Fueling Student Innovation

Each year, the Keenan Center hosts Dolphin Tank, a pitch competition where student-founded companies compete for a share of $50,000 in funding.

We not only open our doors to the people on Le Moyne’s campus, but also to the community at large. We’re saying that here is a space where you can make and create and ask questions. Let’s all discover together.”
