Welcome to one of Le Moyne’s Centers for Excellence – the McNeil Academy for Risk Management and Insurance, home of the College’s world-class Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) program. As part of the Madden College of Business & Economics, the McNeil Academy emphasizes the importance of ethics and socially responsible leadership in your RMI work, but also in your overall professional and personal life, too.
It’s cura personalis – whole person – RMI. And thanks to the generosity of the McNeil family, we’re the only RMI program within a business school in Upstate New York.

The Student Experience
As a McNeil Academy student, you’ll work closely with faculty, alumni and business partners to gain knowledge and experience in managing risks in today’s increasingly complex world. You’ll become familiar with risk identification and analysis, risk evaluation and various approaches for treating and mitigating risk. You learn quickly the ROI of your RMI education and have ample opportunities to get into the world and learn from the best.
