Asya Atik, Ph.D.
- Assistant Professor Business Analytics
Dr. Asya Atik is an Assistant Professor of Business Analytics in the Madden College of Business and Economics at Le Moyne College, where she has been a faculty member since the Fall of 2023. She earned her Ph.D. in Transportation Systems and a master’s degree in Operations Research from North Carolina State University, where she was recognized with the Outstanding Teaching Assistant award in Spring 2023. Dr. Atik holds dual bachelor’s degrees in International Business Administration and Industrial Engineering from Ozyegin University.
During her time at NC State, she has been awarded with the College of Engineering Graduate Merit Award and the University Graduate Fellowship in 2019. As an alum of Turkish Entrepreneurship Foundation, she has a passion for entrepreneurship. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor sports, holding licenses in paragliding and scuba diving. She finds joy in snowboarding, camping, and hiking, reflecting her adventurous spirit.
