Greg Giovanini (’11) holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Le Moyne College and a Master of Arts in Music Theory and Composition from Long Island University. He is an avid vocalist, pianist, clarinetist, composer, and arranger. His original songs and arrangements have been performed at high schools, universities, and other local events in Syracuse and Long Island.

While a student at Le Moyne, Greg was the founding music director for the College’s a cappella group, Fermata Nowhere, and now serves as the group’s faculty moderator. At LIU, Greg worked as the Academic Assistant for Music Education and served as the Assistant Director for the Long Island Sound Vocal Jazz Ensemble (LISVJ). Greg has accompanied many groups and soloists including the Le Moyne College Singers, LIU Post Vocal Performance Workshop, the Newman Singers, and most recently Peaceful Schools, in addition to teaching voice, clarinet, piano, and songwriting at various studios.

Career highlights include touring in Costa Rica with the LISVJ, choral backup for Barry Manilow’s “One Last Time” tour, and performances at the Waldorf Astoria’s Starlight Room and Carnegie Hall.
