Joseph Spino, Ph.D.
- McNeil Assistant Professor of Applied Ethics Philosophy
Joseph Spino was named the McNeil Assistant Professor of Applied Ethics in 2020. He comes to Le Moyne from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where he has taught since 2016. Dr. Spino’s research primarily concerns ethics and moral psychology, with a focus on debates centered on the development (and skepticism) of character and virtue. His work regularly engages with issues that arise in business ethics and biomedical ethics. Currently he is at work on a book, Virtuous Business without Virtuous People. He teaches courses in moral philosophy and business ethics.
