Professor Voorhees is the Resident Costume Designer for Le Moyne College’s theatre program, designing and building costumes for many of Le Moyne’s plays and musicals. She teaches classes in Introduction to Theatre, Fundamentals of Design, Costume Design, Costume Construction and Crafts, Applied Theatre, and Fashion Illustration, as well as specialty courses in theatre design, technology and careers.

She has designed costumes for productions at Syracuse Stage, CNY Arts, SUNY Cortland, University of Mississippi, Weathervane Playhouse in Ohio, Charleston Southern University, the Winston-Salem Symphony Orchestra’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and assistant designed for Pure Theatre in Charleston, S.C. Voorhees spent three seasons at Texas Shakespeare Festival and two seasons at Bard College’s Summerscape building costumes for various productions as their cutter/draper.

Prior to Le Moyne, Professor Voorhees taught classes in costume design, costume history, stage makeup, and drawing and rendering at the University of Mississippi.
