Michael Davis specializes in Victorian and Modern literature with particular interests in sexuality, aesthetics, psychoanalysis, and narrative theory. He is currently completing a book on Walter Pater called, Walter Pater’s “Latent Intelligence” and the Conception of Queer “Theory,” and another book on Virginia Woolf called, Dating Mrs Dalloway: Self-Reflexion, Suicide, and the Ends of Modern Fiction. He is also interested in contemporary critical and cultural theory.
