Thomas Brockelman has written and spoken extensively about psychoanalysis, aesthetics, and continental philosophy. In both his teaching and his scholarship, he is interested in the way that contemporary society and culture have been transformed by the digital revolution. He is the author of Žižek and Heidegger: The Question Concerning Techno-Capitalism (Continuum, 2009), The Frame and the Mirror: On Collage and the Postmodern (Northwestern, 2001), and numerous articles in aesthetics, psychoanalytic theory, and political theory.
