Why the Direct Entry Occupational Therapy Program at Le Moyne?

As an occupational therapist, you’ll make a meaningful difference in other people’s lives every day. You might work with children to help strengthen their fine motor skills so they can succeed in school. Or maybe you’ll assist adults who struggle with memory loss from health conditions or injuries. Perhaps you’ll help seniors accomplish day-to-day tasks so they can lead more independent lives.

Occupational therapists work with people of all ages who struggle with many different challenges that affect their overall quality of life. On the occupational therapy (OT) track at Le Moyne, you’ll learn the latest methods and techniques to help your clients overcome obstacles, build new skills and live their lives to the fullest. You’ll assess the unique needs of each individual and adapt plans to help them achieve their goals. No day on the job is the same, and the rewards are immeasurable.

Accelerate your journey toward becoming an occupational therapist through our direct-entry OT program. After completing a bachelor’s degree in psychology or sociology, you’ll move directly into our master’s program in OT. It will prepare you to devote your career to serving others in the spirit of Le Moyne’s Jesuit mission.
