Le Moyne’s orchestra management program consists of five classes, totaling 15 credits.
The Orchestra Management Certificate
The certificate's curriculum approaches orchestra management by examining the internal and external relationships that professionals navigate daily, ranging from musicians, board members, funders and community stakeholders to current and future audiences. Per consulting with the program director, you can later transfer credits into our Master of Science in Arts Administration if you want to continue your studies upon completing the initial certificate.
Program Scholarship
Through the generosity of an anonymous donor, we award up to ten $1,000 awards to deserving applicants. You must be admitted to the program to be considered for these awards. No additional application is required to be considered for a scholarship.
Program Professional Development
Cohort members will have the option to connect with each other, faculty members and hundreds of orchestra professionals by attending the annual conference of the League of American Orchestras. You may apply to Le Moyne College’s “Friends of the Arts” fund to help cover travel expenses to the conference and other professional development opportunities.
